Controlfile Autobackup Files Missed ? ;)
What directories are created in
$ORACLE_HOME/dbs ???

Theese ....are controlfile autobackup files, they are written to this default direcotry because controlfile autobackup is ON and SET to DISK and db_recovery_file_dest isn't SET.
No comment.....
Why dbs.. this should be clear area of config files/snaps
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '%F'; # default
